I hate my body... - Shadow/Brooke

10:31 am - I hate my body...
Had another bad insulin episode last night. Shortly after the insulin-N shot I started sweating a lot. It was warm in the apartment, and I'd been doing some exercise (cleaning for today's inspection) but this was excessive.
Grabbing the glucometer, and yep, 49. Blargh. Grabbing some juice, then some chocolate. 10 minutes later it was back in the normal range, but I was still feeling like crap. Had some other food and check it a few more times being going to bed.
Fortunately, they appear to be putting off the inspection til this afternoon (which explains the "coffee and donuts 10:00-11:30) thing they put up the other day.
I've just had some breakfast, and I'm gonna finish up the lasrt bits of rearranging things to look less cluttered.
I suspect it was the stress (inspections are *always* stressful) that did it this time.

This manager is already getting a reputation for being extremely slow at her job. Roommate started the process of getting back on the lease a week after getting back and they still haven't gotten back to us on that. Every time we check with them about it, they say they're waiting to hear back from their background check people, which is utterly stupid, as she was on the lease about 6 months ago!
This is twice now they've said there was going to be an inspection and then it never happened. Last month was the first time.
When we last talked with the new manager about a week ago, she had no idea there was going to be an inspection this month at all. She was completely surprised. At least, I assume she was surprised. She has all the facial expressiveness of Lt. Commander Data before his emotion chip. No... less than that. Far less than that. Roomie thought she didn't like her, while my impression was the manager is a robot that doesn't feel any emotions at all and isn't bothered by that fact.
It's 4:54 pm and no sign of any manager or inspections. Fucking hell, if I'd known they were going to pull this bullshit again I wouldn't have skipped the meetup yesterday.
